2 re-trap CHIFF today were a 4F which was first ringed this year on visit 4, she was caught in net "A".
The other was CHIFF - EKK791.... he was ringed as a juvenile on Visit 9 in 2015, he was also caught in net "A". Subsequently he was caught on Visit 6 2016 aged and sexed 4M in net "2" which is very near net "A", on the same day in 2016 we also caught 5 juveniles in net "2".
He has joined us again this year for the 2017 season....caught again on Visit 6 in same net "2"..... this visit we also caught 4 juvenile Chiff in net "2". We would like to think these 2 are the mother and father of these chicks? Will they and their kids be back to join us in 2018, we hope so!
